Phillip Buntin is an Associate Professor at Kent State University Trumbull in Warren, Ohio.  He has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts from Kennesaw State University and Atlanta College of Arts in 1989 and 1997 respectively and earned a Master of Fine Arts with distinction in Painting and Drawing from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT in 2002. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally with recent exhibitions at Poem {88} in Atlanta, and the International Cultural Center in Krakow, Poland. An examination of his work in relationship to phenomenology and his artistic goals by the philosopher Kirsten Jacobson was published in Phenomenology and Arts in 2017.
